Chris is the mastermind behind the Juicy Meat Company.
A chef with several years experience in the food industry, Chris started his restaurant career in 2007, apprenticing at the five-star Savoy Hotel in London, and at the Hand and Flowers - the first pub to receive two Michelin stars - under the tutelage of celebrity chef Tom Kerridge. Seeking a change of direction, Chris turned his attention towards the product development sector in 2017, and has worked on a number of successful products for the supermarket shelf.
When not hard at work in the kitchen, Chris enjoys golf, and is a keen mountain biker. He lives in Yorkshire with his wife and daughter.
Phillippa is Product Developer for The Juicy Meat Company and helps Chris with ideas for new concepts, drawing on global food trends and market successes, as well as sourcing ingredients and keeping up with paperwork! She comes from a food background, having undertaken a Masters degree in Food Science and Nutrition, supporting herself while studying by working in high-end catering. After graduation, Phillippa moved into product development, where she began to oversee the launch of brand new products for retailers.
Phillippa lives in West Yorkshire, and when not hard at work in the development kitchen, enjoys travel, running, gigs and learning new sports!
